Responsibilities:
Coordinate and conduct market research and analysis to ensure the marketing activities are effectively informed and engaged and the influence on prospective students
Identify new business opportunities and explore new and emerging markets for growth in international partnerships and TNE.
Conduct the partner universities course curriculum mapping exercise for advanced standing
Collaborate with other departments in assessment and other exercises to support the development of partnership universities
Communicate and collaborate with marketing and branding to support partnership universities
Design marketing strategies and drive the team to recruit students from the specified country.
Lead the region to execute the agreed strategies for a specified market in order to achieve student targets established for the market.
Ensure student target numbers are achieved through both direct and indirect recruitment channels.
Manage the budget set for marketing within the region. Provide market intelligence to the reporting manager on marketing opportunities.
Identify new business opportunities and explore untapped market opportunities for growth in student recruitment, including new markets, growth areas, trends, or new ways of reaching existing markets
Keep abreast of the latest trends and changes in the education sector
Identify potential university partnerships and collaborations in the region
Expand the University’s diversity through forging and growing international partnerships and TNE to enhance students’ cultural awareness and learning experience
Support and work closely with the manager of international partnerships to expand the university’s international partnerships and TNE offerings
Create opportunities for transnational education (TNE) through establishing strategic partnerships with potential universities in the region for articulation arrangements or dual program delivery opportunities.
Oversee the provision of regular performance reports to the senior management and advice on strategies to address gaps on:
Progress towards achievement of student targets Agent performance
Other emerging market issues
Identify trends and insights to optimize expenditure and performance.
Provide ongoing updates and reports on the success of Universities Partnership and student outcomes.
Provide data analytics, statistical analysis, and relevant strategic recommendations for the university partnerships and outreach.
Provide marketing intelligence on marketing opportunities.
Ensure TEQSA and EduTrust compliance
All documentation required by TEQSA, EduTrust, and the JCU policy framework is completed and stored in an exemplary manner.
All activities accord with the requirements of TEQSA, EduTrust, SQC, and other quality requirements.
Seek to continuously improve the operation and performance of the International Partnerships team.
Criteria:
Bachelor's level degree with a marketing major or equivalent
At least 6 years of experience and expertise in education student recruitment and marketing
High-level communication skills, both verbal and written, in the prevailing language of the market
Well-developed skills in networking and building relationships
Strong understanding of contemporary marketing methodology, including the use of technology as a marketing aid High level of IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
Familiarity with CPE EduTrust and Advertising Guidelines preferred
