The Regional M anager, Partnerships provides strategic leadership and expertise to measurably increase engagement with the JCU’s global experience programs and develop partnership networks that expand the University’s international presence.
Responsibilities:
The Regional Manager, Partnerships is accountable for:
Measurably increasing engagement with JCU global experience programs through provisions of strategic leadership and promotion to University staff and students.
Developing and expanding JCU’s network of global experience partners, acting as a key contact and providing informed, customer centric responses to enquiries.
Ensuring the delivery of optimal business outcomes for the University by leading and facilitating the global experience programs including but not limited to study abroad program, exchange program, short programs and monitoring of exchange students.
Contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives of the Directorate by participating in strategic planning activities and role modelling defined cultures and values.
Leading and developing a team to deliver high quality service outcomes through appropriate human resources and performance management, building a culture of teamwork, innovation, and engagement.
Key selection criteria
Under-graduate qualifications with a marketing major or significant experience in higher education.
Proven strategic management experience in international partnerships, student recruitment and mobility, with accountability for performance and quality management.
Demonstrated people and resource leadership and management experience, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
Exceptional organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, exercising judgement and initiative.
Demonstrated high level communication and analytic skills to articulate concepts and present complex analysis with clarity and professionalism.
Demonstrated high-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain working relationships, including demonstrated ability to consult, negotiate and liaise with varying levels of stakeholders to achieve outcomes for the organisation.
This position is responsible for the management and leadership of staff.
This position may involve occasional domestic and international travel.
This position may involve occasional work outside standard working hours.
Monthly Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
