The Executive, Global Experience delivers advice and guidance to academics and students seeking opportunities for global experience, ensuring all products and services adhere to government policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
The Executive, Global Experience is accountable for:
1. Driving engagement with JCU’s Global Experience offerings by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring products and services meet their needs and expectations.
2. Ensuring the effective management of JCU’s international mobility agreements, ensuring agreements are current, relevant, and aligned with institutional goals, while meeting compliance and reporting standards.
3. Ensuring stakeholders remain well-informed through the delivery of publications, communications and presentations, ensuring information is accurate and meets requirements.
4. Supporting current, prospective students and academic staff throughout their engagement with inbound and outbound Global Experience programs, ensuring accurate documentation, risk management, insurance compliance, and reporting of outcomes.
5. Delivering high level support and expert advice to key internal and external stakeholders ensuring all interactions are professional, customer-focused and achieve measurable outcomes.
Key selection criteria
- Under-graduate qualifications with a business related major.
- Broad knowledge of the application of international office in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to work under broad supervision and collaborate in a geographically dispersed team, delivering quality performance outcomes and contributing positively to business improvement initiatives.
- High-level organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with academic staff, students, and government bodies including stakeholders from varying cultures, countries and backgrounds with respect and integrity.
- Demonstrated high-level written and digital literacy, utilising a range of communication methods and social media platforms for business promotion, including use of a variety of systems to respond to enquiries, record data accurately and generate and analyse reports.
- It is a requirement of this position to participate on occasion in operational activity outside of the recognised normal span of hours.
Monthly Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
